Naraka: Bladepoint is coming soon to a new platform, Xbox One, following its earlier release on Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass. The new platform coincides with the release of a new playable hero, Feria Shen. Both will be available on December 22nd.
These developments were announced at the recent Naraka Fest 2022, and variation is the 13th hero on the roster. The team has also shared a new cinematic trailer and gameplay showcase for her. Feria Shen will stand out, as she uses a different combat method than most, with her giant mech, named Trouble, at the ready. Feria will gun down opponents and hit them with her various weapon skills, but when called for, she can jump into Trouble and pilot the mech, making good use of its weapons and defenses too.
With the update next week, and the Xbox One players joining the community, there will be several holiday events that begin with the snowy ruins challenge leave, which you can take on by locating a hidden maze location and taking on the snow Lord. Another event, running through January 6th, will see gingerbread scattered all around the battlefield and if you collect enough, you can exchange them for prizes. Finally, there will be a New Year's event with login rewards.
Starting today, through December 26th, Naraka: Bladepoint will hold a free play event across its available platforms.
Also at the recent Naraka Fest, there were several updates and announcements for content coming soon. The co-op PvE mode, Showdown, will expand in January with chapter 3. A special crossover event with NieR Replicant and NieR Automata will also be arriving in 2023. Characters and weapons from the world of NieR will be represented in Naraka: Bladepoint. Finally, there will be a new staff coming to the available weapon options. After the recently added Shaolin inspired staff, February will bring the new Pole staff. This will be a heavy staff,i nspired by the Chinese God of War, Guan Yu and its Souljade can even summon his legendary horse, Red Hare.
