Naraka: Bladepoint is getting a Tomb Raider collaboration, the latest in the team’s efforts to hold more IP crossover events.
The Tomb Raider collaboration will launch on August 28th and Matari will get an outfit inspired by Lara Croft. There are also weapon cosmetics to collect, including Lara's compound bow and climbing axe in the update. In Naraka: Bladepoint, NetEase’s announcement points to both Eastern and Western culture coming together as a blend in the new crossover.
In addition to Matari’s Adventurous new outfit and the weapon cosmetics, the event will also add a new Tomb Raider themed background and some base customization options. For deeper immersion, there will also be a Tomb Raider English voice pack available.
Along with the announcement at Gamescom they revealed a teaser trailer for the collaboration as well as the launch details.
Naraka: Bladepoint has had a few crossover events, most recently with the addition of new hero, Kylin Zhang, a character originally from a Chinese web novel series, Time Raiders. Previously, there was a crossover with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
In a press release on the Tomb Raider collaboration, they solidified their commitment to having a series of ongoing IP crossover events that will introduce characters from different franchises in partnership with 24 Entertainment and NetEase. “This new partnership with Tomb Raider will highlight the commitment to bringing exciting, multi-faceted adventures to its players,” they said.
