Myth of Empires is revealing more about the survival game’s upcoming Persia DLC. This time, there are details and images of the weapons we can expect in the new content.

The 13 weapons coming in the DLC, the game's second, after last year's Hellenic DLC,  have been designed based on cultural and historical details and now we know what to expect. These weapons include Battle axes, long axes, a series of hammers, spears, hatchets, bows, and a couple of shields.

The White Wolf Waist Knife is a flat blade you can use for mounted battle, and for decapitating your enemies as you ride past. Another blade, the Khorasan Ripple Blade, is a sber adorned with intricate patterns.

The Inferno Hatchet  is a battle axe with an engraved body and a heavy handle inlaid with gold that you can use to break shields and armor. Yuefude’s Axe, another battle axe named after a monk who traveled the Silk Road. The Radiant Moon Long Axe is an axe for strong fighters who have to cut through some metal plate armor to take down their enemies.

For hammers, the Zhanbo Blossom Hammer is a one-handed Hammer with a gardenia pattern inspired by the gardenias planted along the Silk Road. The Sabo Plate Hammer Is a Long Hammer belonging to the leader of a desert caravan tribe. There are vertically arranged steel plates on the hammer to make it more  durable and destructive. Finally, the Desert Ocean Spiked Hammer is a long-handed mace with spikes on its head. The endless desert where all you can see is sand in any direction is the “desert ocean”.

The Divine Light Spear is also capable of inflicting piercing blows to enemy armor.  The wielder is said to have divine blessings and protection. There are also two bows and two shields. The Aghni Horn Bow features an extended range. The Chengli Battle Bow is a sturdy battle bow. The Suyab Vine Shield has intertwined vines around its edges to make it sturdy and lightweight. Finally, the Bulat Hunting Shield is a round shield with a floral pattern inlaid with gold. These are valuable, but arguably more valuable when someone is lunging at you with a spear.

More details and DLC previews are over at Myth of Empires on Steam.
