Mortal Shell has received a new trailer, along with news of a Closed Beta on July 3.
The trailer and details were unveiled on IGN’s ongoing Expo. Details include a Closed Beta beginning on July 3. If you’re unfamiliar with Mortal Shell, it was announced back in April and was described as a Souls-like game and a, “a deep action-RPG that tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world.”
Beta sign-ups also went live at that time along with an initial trailer. The game is set to arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. However, it’s been quiet since then, until now. Along with the new trailer, IGN notes that the beta will take about two hours to complete.
It’ll take you to a location called the Crypt of Martyrs, and will end with a boss fight. You’ll face off against Enslaved Grisha, described as a rather large beast with a cage as a muzzle.
If you want to access the beta, you’ll have to join the Discord, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook channels of the game. These locations will be periodically releasing beta codes.
