Mortal Online 2 has just added a new dungeon to Myrland, fixed a number of bugs, and improved combat. The team has also announced the results of a community poll on what items on the roadmap they should prioritize.

Earlier in the month, the community was able to take part in a poll Intended to highlight what players wanted to see and what they cared about most in terms of priority on the roadmap. well, the team has updated and announced the poll results.  The top request was combat polish, the second was a new dungeon, and the third was the ability to create a second character. The 4th was new POIs, and coming in at number 5, was new creatures. The rest of the top 10 included new writable creatures, weapons, combat abilities, and armor.

This week’s patch was not in response to the poll, but does give some of what the community wants anyway. The Undercroft is a brand new dungeon that you can find somewhere in Myrland. They’ve also made more than a dozen updates to improve Etherworld combat, as well as more general combat tweaks. One of the more interesting additions is a new mechanic. This lets you charge an attack until the charge circle blinks and, if you choose to use it, the option of a feint without losing your charge. You'll keep your charge but you still get a second chance to shift your strategy in the moment if you need it. Considering this could affect balance, Star Vault promises to keep an eye on it.

Speaking of balance, guild NPCs that are killed will have to wait 20 minutes to respawn instead of 5. So, prioritize strengthening your defenses, since one part will be down for much longer.

There are many changes in the update, which you can see in the full patch notes here. They’re mostly designed to improve the player experience. Magic gets an assist from a new change that makes leveling magic schools faster. There’s also a complete redesign of the heavy horse armor to better fit with the rest of the visual appearance of the game.

Star Vault has also added support for AMD FSR3 Upscaling and Frame Generation in settings, which works with all GPUs. Other technical changes include some server stability improvements, and changes to reduce resource use.
