Mortal Online 2’s next PTR is opening up tomorrow to test Sprint patch 7. Following the roadmap, the patch features include a clade reroll token, the introduction of ranked dueling seasons, a daily task system, and more.
The PTR will open tomorrow, October 30th, and the patch consists of adding more stuff to do, as well as a number of optimizations and improvements.
Some rotating daily tasks will be added, and the straightforward addition will offer you something you can complete once a day for rewards. If you are looking for something else to do, well if combat is your thing, ranked duels are on the way. You'll be able to compete with other players in dueling seasons, complete with leaderboards, ranked tiers, and even an overhauled process of initiating duels.
Test out the system in the PTR and they'll be similar to current duels, without enforced restrictions. Star Vault does plan on expanding the arena in the future with more tightly controlled rules. For now, this isn't matchmaking-based, this is just two people agreeing to duel each other under whatever circumstances both agree to. Seasons will reset every 3 months
They're also introducing a surrender system in the form of an action skill called…Surrender. Activateit and your character raises their arms in the air to show that they are not a threat and any other player can inspect their inventory while their hands are raised. It offers a chance to show potential attackers that you are carrying no valuables.
Clade rerolls are coming, as a new token-based feature. You can change your clade and bloodline, and also re customize your character’s face and body. These are the only changes, except if you change to a clade with a lower pool of maximum attribute points.
The test build is also set to include Mastery updates, along with character and world optimization for performance purposes, and spiders added to mount options.
