After testing this patch last week, Star Vault has added an updated new player experience, as well as two new task types to Mortal Online 2. These changes join some new character creation options and a brand new mount.
Well there are new content editions, this update is primarily concerned with overhauling the new player experience and the overall player experience. areas of the early game have been updated, improved, and changed to make things a little more player friendly. This includes new build preset options in character creation that you can pick from in order to get going and start your adventure faster.
Early experience also means an expanded tutorial, with expanded, polished, and otherwise updated areas. In Haven, there is an improved tutorial with new additions, including a taming tutorial that will help you get your first horse, and the task system has been integrated into the early experience. Not only will it prepare you on how to complete tasks, it'll get you prepared for the next change in the patch.
There are two new groups of tasks added to all cities: Fishing and Foraging. There will be some information given to complete the tasks, but you'll have to figure out how to complete them and the best ways to make it worth your time. They're looking to add more task types down the line.
The overall player experience has also gotten some improvements, including the addition of a new Guild Finder. Choose from a variety of criteria to search by, and the new tool should help you find a compatible guild once you’ve ventured out from Haven. Fields in need of a few good recruits can also set up their profile and search for players.
There is a brand new mount in the game, the Lykiator. The full patch notes list a variety of balance changes and updates in the patch, streamlined Profession and Action skills, and much more.
