Mortal Online 2 Details Invasions, New PvE Challenges, New Crafting Material, Pets, and Lots More

Mortal Online 2 is spicing things up with Invasions. Star Vault’s new feature intends to add some new PvE challenges along with a new crafting material, new rewards, and more that goes beyond just a skills test.

The basics are pretty straightforward. Inspired by The Tagmaton Irruption, a key event in Mortal Online lore event, that took most of the life on Myrland. Now, the Tagmatons are stirring again. 

Every Invasion will begin with one creature, the Drone, which spawns in semi-random locations around Myrland and scout for a place to call the full invasion force. Led by the Disgorger, a large and worm-like Tagmaton that serves as a biological transport tube, the calvary is coming in. Once it arrives, expect several types of Tagmatons to emerge and play their parts in the invasion. Disgorgers become stronger the longer they survive and will spew out stronger Tagmaton types too.

There will be new loot items with these large-scale invasions, and a new crafting material, Huskweave,  that will come from killing and harvesting the invaders. They tease other items, including house decorations, glands that could offer consumable buffs, and Tagmaton Brood Eggs. Hatch the egg and nurture the Wriggler inside and get one of a number of new pets.

So you'll have to fight back, destroy the Drones, and the Disgorgers to stop the invasion. To destroy the latter,  the team will  reveal at another time. The Hivebreakers, a group that staunchly dedicate themselves to eradicating the Tagmaton threat, carry knowledge from the previous survivors.
