The newest update to Once Human brings a promised challenge to its endgame users, as well as some other quality of life updates for mobile players and beyond.
As discussed in other blogs, the high-end Nightmare-difficulty Securement Silos, which are essentially dungeons, are available in The Way of Winter, Prismverse's Clash, and Evolution's Call scenarios. The rewards are higher for these than other modes, with adjustments for Prismverse's Clash's Nightmare content Energy Link rates adjusted to match other scenarios'.
There are also some minor quality of life fixes. One of the bigger ones is the optimization of Nearby chat, allowing players in the same Public Crisis Event to see each other.
Mobile players will have some ease of use updates, including a new “standby mode,” where prolonged periods of activity will essentially pause the game to reduce battery and performance strains. They can now disable quick-use for survival items, and they’ll also get a brief delay after aiming before their weapons fire off.
Plus, there’s the usual slew of cosmetic additions and some bug fixes that come with Once Human’s frequent updates.
