Treasure hunters should look to Final Fantasy XIV next week, as the Moogle Treasure Trove event returns.
Running from May 14-June 24th, the event features new and returning rewards for you to earn however you’d like. There are a number of objectives to choose from for you to complete, with your goal of getting your hands on irregular tomestones. To build up your collection of tomestones, you can complete standard objectives, special weekly objectives, or in two other ways –completing Minimog challenges and the Ultimog challenge.
Standard objectives are repeatable so you can complete these on your own time. Look through the Duty Finder and see which have a Moogle icon next to them. These are your standard objectives that you can complete for this event. You can also receive tomestones from GATEs and ocean fishing routes (if you score more than 1,200 points). Since this is an active event, you won’t get any tomestones for completing them using the Duty Support system of adventurer squadrons.
Weekly objectives and Minimog challenges are once a week, with refreshes on Tuesday at 1am PDT. If you are participating, you'll be assigned one weekly objective from the list of standard objectives to complete. This offers another chance to earn yourself more stones. Minimog challenges offer a choice of two objectives to complete to earn tomestones. The Ultimog challenge can be done one time during the entire event, so the prize pot is 50 tomestones.
Find yourself some itinerant Moogles to exchange your stones for all kinds of items,with both new and returning rewards. Rewards include a new Emerald Carbuncle earring, Orchestrion rolls, the Domakin and Behemoth Heir minions, armor, furniture items, mount whistles, and more.
