Capcom has dropped the first Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase previewing the first chunk of free game updates, called the Free Title Update, including new Monsters and content.
This Showcase gives us a better look at Mizutsune, the returning Monster Hunter Leviathan that shoots bubbles and water, unlockable in the Scarlet Forest. Plus, Zoh Shia will become a replayable mission, and players will be able to get nifty new gear.
A new player hub, called the Grand Hub, will let Monster Hunter Wilds players join together and hang out a little more substantially, including a new Barrel Bowling mini-game. It’s unlockable at level 16, and once done, the Squad Information Counter will relocate here.
For more competitive Monster Hunters, Arena Quests will let players take on worldwide timed challenges. Additionally in the limited-time roster is the Arch-Tempered Rey Dau, a high-level super-powered version of the monster for Hunters at 50 and up, which will come in a later update in April until mid-May.
Most of these free updates to Wilds will arrive on Thursday, April 3.
