Monokei, makers of premium mechanical keyboards, has announced a brand new collection inspired by the Jujutsu Kaisen manga and anime. The collection consists of new versions of its excellent Standard wireless mechanical keyboard, themed after main characters Megumi and Yuji. The collection also includes four special edition mouse pads featuring all four main characters and a custom keycap set. The keyboards are available for pre-order now while both the keycap set and the mouse pads are currently in-stock.

The two keyboards are eye-catching and distinct; if you’re a fan of the anime, you’ll immediately make the connection. The Megumi Edition of the Standard is mint green with dark navy and deeper mint keycaps. The Yuji Edition is bright orange but swaps the deep mint accent keys for darker orange but has matching navy keys otherwise. Both keyboards feature accent keys with graphics from the anime so no one will mistake your fandom.

Both keyboards are built on the same Standard base we reviewed in the beginning of the month, and that’s a very good thing. The Standard offers a refined typing experience designed to be an introduction to the level of quality you can expect from custom keyboards without the major price hike. It features a soft, gasket mounted design, hot-swappable switches, screw-in stabilizers, and satisfying acoustics.

Even if you’re not a fan of the manga, these are very interesting keyboards. If you’re looking to add a little color to your desk, or can’t wait to reveal your passion for modern sorcery, these look to be solid options worth considering. Find out more on the official product page.
