Moderators & Writers Wanted

Moderators & Writers Wanted

MMORPG.com is currently looking for a few good men and women to fill roles as writers and moderators. While all positions are on a voluntary basis, bonuses are available to those who earn them.

  • Forum Moderators: We're looking for level headed individuals who can dispassionately read the boards and enforce our Terms of Service in a fair and equal manner. This position requires minimal, but consistent time schedules. We'd especially like to see applicants in hard-to-cover timezones (Australia). A good command of English and the ability to express yourself in writing is essential.
    • Applicants should email stradden@mmorpg.com with "Moderator Application" in the title line. Please include a resume and a short paragraph on why you believe you would be a good candidate. Please also include your MMORPG.com user ID.
  • Staff Writers: We need articulate, MMORPG-obsessed writers to cover the genre. People who play or have played a wide range of MMORPGs are preferable. Writing is a deadline oriented position, but carries the reward of seeing your work published in a highly visible position.
    • Applicants should email lepidus@mmorpg.com with "Writer Application" in the title line. All applicants should include a 800-1200 word editorial on an MMORPG topic of their choosing along with a resume.

We appreciate all applicants time and will let you know - positive or negative - our response in as timely a manner as possible (keep in mind E3 is next week). Also, all applicants must be over 18 years of age.

Thank you,

The MMORPG.com Team
