Epic has just thrown down the battle royale gauntlet to all other developers with its announcement that Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to both Android and iOS devices. It will be the entire game, according to Epic, the same one players are already participating in on PlayStation 4, XBox One, PC and Mac. "Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates." What's even crazier? Cross platform play with ALL available systems minus XB1 will be supported.
The iOS version of Fortnite Battle Royale will be hitting live status on Monday. You can sign up on the Epic / Fortnite Battle Royale site. "Support for Android will be coming in the next few months".
In partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.
