Albion Online has been updated with some interesting new features and mechanics that include a mobile repair kit for players on the go. In addition, the team is going to be taking a hard look at death mechanics in order to further streamline them and introduce a "knock down" phase that allows players to be revived by companions.
The developers plan to revamp the character death mechanics, which will make both PvE and PvP fights more strategically interesting. Instead of instant death and respawning in a city, the update will introduce a forced knock down phase when the player runs out of hit points. When knocked down, they are not able to actively do anything until their hit points regenerate. This way, fallen players can be revived by others in their group with a resurrection spell. If a knocked down player is executed, their gear can be picked up by their opponents.
