In a report by Kotaku, it looks like Mitsubishi has pulled their sponsorship of Blizzard ahead of BlizzCon next week.
In speaking with The Daily Beast, it appears that a Mitsubishi spokesperson confirmed this withdrawal,
“Two days after the company announced that it would ban Hong Kong-based professional Hearthstone player Chung Ng Wai, Mitsubishi Motors Taiwan ended its sponsorship of Blizzard’s esports events, according to Erica Rasch, a spokesperson for Mitsubishi.”
It appears the original speculation of Mitsubishi’s withdrawal came from Reddit when some users noticed that the car maker’s logo was no longer present a tournament backdrop’s broadcast.
