Star Trek Online players will get another chance to take part in a Mirror Invasion when it makes its return beginning Thursday, August 25th. The event will run through September 15th. During the Mirror Invasion, players will be able to earn Dilithium, Marks and a special Admiralty Card after completing a new reputation project.
As the event begins, a number of rifts open around the map and ships from the Mirror Universe begin to cross over into ours. If left unchecked, the rifts will grow and launch more powerful ships. You must stop these ships before they can damage the station by either destroying the ships or by closing the rifts.
Players will earn rewards by helping keep station health high, assisting in building its defenses, closing portals and taking down the Mirror Dreadnought before time runs out.
In addition, there is a "once per day" Multidimensional Transporter given that can be turned in through the Reputation System in a bundle of 14. Doing so earns 50,000 Dilithium Ore, 500 Fleet Marks, 250 Marks of choice and an Admiralty Card. Extras can be handed in for lesser rewards.
