You can pencil in September 8 for the Creeping Winter expansion for Minecraft Dungeons, set to arrive on Xbox One, PC, Switch, PS4, and Game Pass.
The expansion will be free for those players with the Hero Edition of Minecraft Dungeons, or if you have the Hero Pass. The press release also cites two new features arriving with the expansion including a Camp Update and Daily Trials.
The Camp Update introduces new villager merchants. Visit the blacksmith to upgrade your favorite items and meet the gift wrapper to send an armored present to your multiplayer teammates. Daily Trials will introduce a new challenge every day. You can replay your favorite levels in a new way with random combinations of mobs to defeat and weapons to yield to win some very exclusive gear. Two Daily Trials will be available on the main map every day, as well as one for each DLC pack.
Also included with Creeping Winter are three brand new missions, new weapons, armor, and artifacts as you make your way to the ultimate battle against the Wretched Wraith. If you have the Standard Edition of the game, you can either buy it separately for your platform or upgrade your Standard Edition with a Hero Pass (which also includes the “Jungle Awakens” expansion)
