Microsoft has finally confirmed the Xbox Series S. It’s priced at $299 and releases on November 10.
The console boasts a much smaller footprint than the Series X as more information was shared on Twitter. The Series S is set to be an all-digital console and as such will have no drive ports. Microsoft also claims 1440p at up to 120fps, DirectX ray tracing, variable rate shading, variable refresh rate, ultra-low latency, a custom 512 GB NVME SSD, 4K streaming media playback, and 4K upscaling.
While this information was confirmed for the Series S, we still don’t know concrete specs for this console. Additionally, Microsoft has not confirmed the price nor the release date for the larger Series X.
