It looks like a presentation is reportedly in store this week with Microsoft and Bethesda discussing the recent acquisition of the latter by the former.

We had previously reported that Zenimax Media’s acquisition was welcome and celebrated yesterday by Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. This followed the European Commission greenlighting the acquisition earlier this week, giving the $7.5 billion acquisition the go-ahead.

In reporting by VentureBeat, we should expect some sort of presentation between the two companies discussing this acquisition and answering questions about various games like Fallout and Elder Scrolls. This presentation is supposed to take place tomorrow, March 11.

According to VentureBeat, Microsoft likely won’t go into too much detail about Bethesda’s projects still in development. This includes Starfield, which we’ll reportedly learn more about this summer. The focus of the presentation will instead be about Game Pass and what this deal means for that service.

Notably, you should expect to see a number of Bethesda games on the service fairly soon. However, what’s less clear at this point is the status of platform exclusivity. Although Phil Spencer touched on this, there weren’t concrete details on franchises like Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI.
