The Elder Scrolls Online Scions of Ithelia Chapter is on its way in just a few weeks, and ZeniMax has a new lore preview introducing one of the characters: Fa-Nuit-Hen.
As with many lore preview features, this Meet the Character devblog is done in the form of a letter from Fa-Nuit-Hen, the Demiprince of Maelstrom, to a Mages scholar. In Scions of Ithelia, you will find yourself helping the demiprince out in one of the DLC’s new dungeons, Bedlam Veil. A dangerous cult, The Blind Path, has invaded, and you can take on this four player dungeon and help Fa-Nuit-Hen to fight off the invasion.
In the letter he introduces himself, with plenty of flourish. “I’m the Demiprince of Maelstrom and the Multiplier of Motions Known,” he says, before expressing a preference to be called Fa-Nuit-Hen. Though the simplicity isn’t modesty.
Maelstrom is a space of challenge, for those who believe themselves up to the test in these legendary arenas. If you've cleared the Malestrom Arena trial as part of the Orisinum DLC, then you already gotten a taste of how difficult and how well trained the fighters in here might be.
The Demiprince himself touts his combat skills and training but says that now he is looking to be more of an observer and to be entertained by the feats that those training in the arenas and competing present him, judging by the rest of the letter. “I want mortals and immortals alike to entertain and thrill me with their struggles at battle and their drive to survive. This is what interests me,” he says.
Well, soon, he’ll see what an invasion holds in Bedlam Pit when Scions of Ithelia is out for PC/Mac on March 11th/console on March 26th, alongside Update 41.
