Owlcat Games have dropped a new trailer for Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader, it’s CRPG set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K universe. The trailer showcases the Death Cult and the companion Kibellah, all coming as part of the Void Shadows DLC releasing on August 8.
The Death Cult display their devotion to the Emperor through violence and death, as one might imagine. In the DLC, the player character will run into a Death Cult assassin named Kibellah in their journey and can recruit her to his crew.
Owlcat also recently released patch 1.2, the biggest update yet, according to the developer, with over 2500 changes made.
The update made a number of changes to balance, including a sweeping overhaul of the game’s out of sequence turns, buffs to Sanctioned Psykers and Pyromancers, late game scaling, and more.
1.2 also introduces co-op play from the very beginning. Two custom mercenary characters are available during the game’s prologue. Players can also transfer their custom portraits and desyncs have been addressed.
There’s plenty more in the update, but some quality of life features players are sure to appreciate include improved inventory sorting, quest markers on star systems, combat logs and level up screens, tooltips, and more.
