Wargaming has announced that Master of Orion is ready to take to the skies on August 25th. During the game's Early Access period, players were integral in their feedback leading to a number of enhancements to the reborn 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXterminate, eXploit) game.
Master of Orion takes the original series and brings it forward into a new era and gives the experience to a new generation with epic game play. Players take on the game with any one of ten races with voice talent that includes Mark Hamill, Michael Dorn and Alan Tudyk.
Players purchasing Master of Orion will also receive a free copy of the original 1997 RTS Total Annihilation.
As of August 25, the Master of Orion standard edition will be available for $29.99, delivering all of the tactics and strategy of the original series. The Master of Orion Collector’s Edition is also available for $49.99, featuring a detailed digital art book, a full orchestral soundtrack by the original Master of Orion composer, retro pixel ships skins, and an exclusive new race for Collector’s Edition holders: the Terran Khanate.
