Step into hidden, shadowy magical paths in Guild Wars 2’s new Janthir Wilds update, Repentance, which is live now.
The last update, Godspawn, told of a rising threat within the mursaat ruins. The new update Introduces a new map, Miistburned Barrens, new story chapters, 12 new Core Relics, and a new Mastery track, Mursaat Shadowcraft. It is this Mastery track that offers an opportunity to learn to travel using mursaat mirrors to travel through a shadowed realm that the mursaat have used to traverse long distances quickly without notice.
Looking for more challenges? Repentance also adds Challenge modes to the Decima, Greer, and Ura raids, with Legendary Mode coming for Ura on March 25th. Greer, the Blightbringer, also gets added to the Mount Balrior 50-player Convergence.

The update adds 12 new Core Relics, new Homestead decorations and new instance nodes, as well as a series of new rewards. These include a refresh for the Wizard’s Vault, with a new quest to accompany the new loot. The Wayward Wisp is the quest, and you can encounter a special wisp that appears and offers a forest wisp accessory and infusion. The other themed loot in the vault includes the Old-Growth weapons collection, the Ward Knight’s gloves, shoulders, and boots, and more nature-themed stuff.
Starting today, to accompany the update’s release, there are TTwitch Drops earnable by watching GW2 streamers with drops on. You have from now through March 16th at 11:59 p.m. Pacific to unlock all of the rewards by watching five hours of content: a Mini Lion Cub, Fuzzy Panda Hat bundle, and bag slot expansion.
