Marvel Snap's cast is dressed to impress at the Hellfire Gala in the game's latest season update.
The new game update spotlights the Hellfire Gala storyline featured in Marvel Comics by adding a whole set of Hellfire Gala themed variants to the game. Fittingly, the latest Season Pass card is the leader of the Hellfire Club himself, Sebastian Shaw.
Shaw is a three energy four power card with the ability "When this card permanently gains Power, gain +2 more Power. (wherever this is)." This fits thematically with his in universe ability to absorb energy and convert it to enhance his own strength.
The Hellfire Gala isn't all form, though. As the final game update of the year, Second Dinner's included a number of new features and some significant balance changes.
As far as new features go, the developer has added a deck building function to the game, allowing players to have the game fill their deck with cards that synergize with the rest of their deck or even build an entire deck around a single card. The feature leverages Second Dinner's internal data to determine the most synergistic combinations, making deck building a cinch for players new to the game or those with little deckbuilding experience.
New emotes have been added to the game for the first time since launch, utilizing the newly released Album feature, which unlocks rewards for players who collect variants sourced from a specific set.
