Marvel Rivals, the hero shooter we didn't know we needed but can't stop playing, is teasing its next group of characters to come to its immense roster: the Fantastic Four.

Despite launching with an utterly large roster of heroes and villains from across the Marvel multiverse last month, the team at NetEase unveiled the next heroes players should expect to see join the ranks. The Fantastic Four look to be coming relatively soon, though today's announcement was only a tease for the official reveal coming next Monday.

"Get ready to welcome Marvel’s First family in Marvel Rivals," the game's official X account announced this morning.  "Trailer on January 6th at 8:00 AM PST / 16:00 UTC. Be there."

The post was also accompanied by a piece of key art showcasing the Fantastic Four, with every member included: Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Thing, and the Human Torch. The key art also ensures that the team's robot, H.E.R.B.I.E., is present.

While we don't know yet whether all four members are coming at once, if they will be staggered releases as the roster expands, and even if H.E.R.B.I.E. itself will be playable, the trailer next week should clear much of that up.

Marvel Rivals has had itself an incredible first month since launching, and while it's not perfect, it's certainly scratching that hero shooter itch many of us didn't know we had, to the tune of over 20 million players in two weeks, as well as the announcement that it boasts the largest gaming Discord server ever. It doesn't seem to be slowing down, either, with this announcement, and more assuredly to come.
