Marvel Rivals Big Head Mode to Appear for a Limited Time

Big Head Mode will grace Marvel Rivals for a limited time starting on April 25, 2025. Famous for its appearance in Goldeneye 007, this “joke” mode will allow for players to obtain event-exclusive titles and a special emote for their participation. Granted, NetEase has made it a point not to call Giant-Size Brain Blast, the limited-time event in Marvel Rivals, Big Head Mode, but we all know what it is.

NetEase released a short trailer, showcasing what this mode will look like, big heads and goofy sound effects included. You can watch it below for a sneak peak at what you’ll have in store if you choose to queue into Giant-Size Brain Blast mode.

Players can participate in two windows, which limits when they can obtain their titles and emote. Giant-Size Brain Blast mode will be available during the following:

April 25 - April 28, 2025
May 2 - May 5, 2025

The addition of this temporary mode comes alongside the introduction of Season 2 for Marvel Rivals. And naturally, with a new season comes a new Battle Pass. This time, it’s focused on the fictional nation of Krakoa, with Emma Frost of the X-Men being the latest addition through this update.
