Marv Wolfman isn’t going to be making huge changes to the story of planet Auraxis; he is going to be adding depth. His lore is going to be taking place throughout hundreds of years of the planets history from what he told me. SOE has given him total creative freedom to write in any stile he sees fit to tell Planetside 2’s history. There will be stories written from the perspective of soldiers on the front lines to regular people just watching their world being torn apart by war. Marv said he has even written some of the lore in different styles too. There will be first person accounts, third person, narrative, some will be news paper articles, and even corporate memos straight from the desks of the New Conglomerate higher-ups. For the record, Marv seemed especially excited that SOE was giving him that kind of freedom. He told me that when he handed in the first set of lore, he wasn’t sure what kind of reaction it would get. Much to his surprise everyone loved it.
