MapleStory Players Can Finally Take the Fight to the Black Mage

MapleStory has been updated and players can now log into the game to finally take the fight to the Black Mage. The update also brings two new Tenebris areas, a duel against Commander Verus Hilla and, of course, the "monumental battle" against the big man himself.

Players level 200 or higher who have completed the 5th job advancement can access the Labyrinth of Suffering, Tenebris’ second area. At the end of the quest, players will find Verus Hilla, one of the Black Mage’s leading Commanders, ready to fight. Limina,  Tenebris’ final area, is also available as players must help the Tenebris expedition escape dangerous situations inside to complete the Journey of Destiny.

Every class will also receive the new 5th job skill that should help in the epic battle "once the Maple Alliance gathers enough Determination to power up the Spark of Determination".  The Black Mage's HP is shared across all worlds, so all players have a chance to contribute to his downfall.

Players also have three new Defense Missions: Flame Bird Support, Twilight Defense, and Battle at Sea.
