MapleStory Fest will be back as a virtual event next month, and players can watch online, enter contests, and claim a series of rewards.

Last year's MapleStory Fest At Home also saw the reveal of the Awake update, so there might be some big surprises in store this time around too. The event will take place on Saturday, November 13th, starting at 1pm PDT on both the MapleStory Twitch and YouTube channels.

There will be videos from members of the MapleStory and MapleStory M teams, announcements of what's coming to the games in terms of content and new updates. There are also raffles and several contests, including FashionStory, where you show off screenshots of your character in an outfit, with fans voting for the winner, Low Budget Cosplay, where those that create a creative cosplay inspired by MapleStory and MapleStory M content from less than $50 worth of materials. This will also be voted on by fans to pick the real world prize winners. There's also a fan art showcase, which any player can enter. Those that submit artwork for consideration might have their work shared and shown during the event.

There aren't many details available just yet as to just what prizes there will be this year, including the goodies that players will get from watching MapleStory Fest. Those details will be coming soon, along with additional announcements as to what other content the event stream might bring.

MapleStory and MapleStory M have some dedicated fanbases, and this fourth annual event should have some surprises in store. Gaming was already prepared for virtual community events during a pandemic, and as safety considerations continue, seeing multiple events continue this way isn’t surprising. For more, check the official MapleFest event page, where the team will continue to update details as they're released.
