Manor Lords received its first major patch recently, updating the game to version 0.7.972. The patch was previously in beta on Steam and its live version of the patch brought even more changes than were previously included in its beta.
Patch 0.7.972 addresses a number of issues such as clogged Trading Posts, ineffective archers, civilians getting far too drunk on ale, mysteriously disappearing crops, and much more.
Developer Slavic Magic also added a new feature in King’s Tax, allowing players to reward their best people or penalize the worst.
There’s lots more in the patch, too. The developer has added new armor variations, an updated Large Granary, as well as a new patron saint.
With everything in the patch, Slavic Magic founder Greg Styczen noted he was ‘really stressed’ putting the update out, but didn’t want players to wait any longer to have bugs fixed.
I'm really stressed, I hope it goes well. I technically should wait another week and test it even more internally but I really wanted GOG, EGS and Gamepass players to not get stuck with old bugs for any longer.

Manor Lords launched into Steam Early Access back in April and immediately took off, racking up over a million sales in a single day and earning itself a record concurrent user count for a city builder. Sales continued to roll on with Slavic Magic announcing that it had achieved two million copies sold after three weeks in Early Access.
