Maegu Awakening is live today in Black Desert Online, along with the giant serpent boss, Imoogi. Pearl Abyss also announced a new roadmap update at the Festa event held in Korea over the weekend. Some of what’s on the way are a new Conquest War PvP mode, a new Arena of Solare season, Mythical Doom, and even a new realm.
With Land of the Morning Light out for a couple of weeks now on PC, Pearl Abyss announced that the content will release in Black Desert Console on July 26th. On PC, they're looking beyond and beginning to roll out new content both newly announced and previously teased. Imoogi, the giant serpent boss that was announced before Land of the Morning Light, joins the expansion content’s other bosses in the new Boss Blitz mode today. Strategy for this boss promises to be a bit different, as you'll want to avoid attacks and focus on an altar in the center of the battlefield in order to emerge victorious.
Maegu Awakening is also available starting today, and this newest way to play Maegu lets her take advantage of some of the influence from her sister. This version is known as “the living embodiment of the Fox Goddess” and uses the foxtail fans to gracefully, and rapidly, move around the battlefield and unleash the power of the fox spirit's flames. She is a close combat melee fighter, and offers a new way to play the twins.
As for future content, War of the Roses which is a huge scale Conquest war, namely a 300 versus 300 battle that will run every two weeks. This is different from the existing Node and Conquest wars, because you won't need to build fortresses before the battle, you just have to show up and be ready. You can participate with uncapped gear, so there are no limitations on gear stats. Bring your best.
Mythical Doom is on its way, which is a reimagining of the hell horse concept of Doom for a new type of Mount will have the fastest land speed in Black Desert Online.
In August, the game will get a new realm, Noble Land Ulu Kita. With our monsters, including two revealed that the event over the weekend called City of the Dead and Tungrad Ruins. These are high-end difficulty zones, with high-level stats of 700 or higher.
Finally, the Sea Palace Summer Event will return on July 26th, with an all new Korean folklore-inspired overhaul.
