LotRO's latest legendary worlds, Angmar and Mordor, are live today, bringing with them the new Veil of the Nine world event to challenge players.
The new Legendary servers open up today (Mordor is already open, in fact!), bringing another way to play the long-running MMORPG. While these aren't the first Legendary worlds that Standing Stone Games have spun up, they do have a unique twist: the Veil of the Nine event.
The first 64-bit servers that LotRO has seen, the new servers will also feature the new event that will have Nazgul periodically spawn across the world. These Nazgul aren't your everyday variety of Ringwraith, and will require a large group of players to tackle. Even then, it might not be enough.
Thankfully, twelve Rings of Power will also spawn throughout the world, and if one of these Rings is brought to the Nazgul fight, it can turn the tide. Nazgul can threaten any player who has hit level 10, and while it's only "sometimes" available, it will be a constant threat over the head of any VIP players who venture onto the new worlds.
It's a busy week for SSG, as yesterday also saw the release of Update 41 and the new Birding hobby. Today also marks the start of the Thorin's Hall Hard Tack crafting event on the regular worlds.
