LotRO's Legendary Servers Get Another Wraith Tweak While the Farmer's Faire Kicks Off

The Lord of the Rings Online has made another tweak to its Legendary Server Wraith spawns with update 41.1, all while the denizens of Middle-earth prep for the Farmer's Faire.

Since the Legendary Servers launched a few weeks back, the devs at Standing Stone Games have been working on tweaking the frequency of its Veil of the Nine event's Wraith spawns. Building off of player feedback, the change made with today's Update 41.1 patch will change it further, especially as it pertains to spawning while in a story or solo instance.

Now, Wraiths will not spawn if you're not in a Fellowship while in an instance, meaning you won't be fighting off hordes of Wraiths while trying to get Sara Oakheart to speed up. However, SSG is quick to point out that entering a group with even just one other person will result in Wraith spawns being turned back on while in an instance.

"When a player is in an instance and NOT in a Fellowship, no lesser wraiths can spawn. This means that solo/story instances will no longer be interrupted by wraiths, but note that joining a group with another player will still re-enable wraith spawns. While you are in a group with at least one other player, even if that player is not nearby, lesser wraiths are re-enabled inside of instances."

Other major additions to Update 41.1 include a tweak to the rewards for the ongoing Forester Event in Combe, as well as quite a few tweaks to many of the MMO's classes. Additionally, the Farmer's Faire has kicked off today with new rewards, running through September 3rd.
