The time has come once again to celebrate the Midsummer Festival and the Yuletide Festival in Lord of the Rings Online, bringing rewards and fun for a limited time.
The Midsummer Festival will feature new and previously seen rewards, including things like the Circlet of Hanging Blooms, Ceremonial Staff of the Eternal Sun, and the Large Tree Garden. There are several other rewards to collect, but these are just a few on the roster.
Silver Yuletide Hobbit Gifts will include the Ringlo Steed, which has been seen during previous events, and the Gold Hobbit Gifts will gain a new reward: The Elven Leaf War-Steed cosmetics. Virtue experience points awards from Hobbit Presents have been given a bit of a boost, as the devs say they have been “bumped up” to the next higher tier for the entirety of the festivals.
The “A Festive Flurry” quests will now require three completions of the daily quests available, “in the Spirit of Yule, rather than the four we needed during the previous festivals. To complete “A Fortune of Festive Spirit”, we will only need to complete 12 days of participation rather than 16 as we saw before.
There are several other rewards to collect and quests to complete throughout the festivals, which are set to end on June 25th.
