Lord of the Rings Online is celebrating its 13th anniversary with an anniversary event going live today.
The event is set to run through May 23. Both premium and VIP folks will be able to receive gifts depending on the status of your account. Specifically for VIP players, if you log on during the event, you can receive an account-wide Anniversary Celebration Pig cosmetic pet. There’s a limit of one per character.
Rewards will be doled depending on your time with the game. For example, if you’re a one-year premium or VIP player, you’ll receive:
- A 1-year character portrait frame
- Anniversary Fireworks
However, if you’ve been playing the game for the 13 years it’s been released, you’re eligible to receive:
- 13-year character portrait frame
- Mysterious Celebration Pig cosmetic pet
- Title: Baker's Dozen
Meanwhile, your Monster Play character will receive:
- 13-year monster play character portrait frame
- Title: A Lucky Thirteenth
- Eagle Fireworks permanent launcher item
