The Aeromancer is coming to Lost Ark with the August update, which will be out on August 16th, and the team has a new preview diving into everything you need to know about the upcoming new class.

The Aeromancer is the second Specialist class in the game, following the Artist, and she uses skills based in mystical illusion and performs them with the help of her umbrella. Her identity is called Sun Shower and as she fights she has a raindrop meter so every time she strikes an enemy that starts to fill up. When it's full, she can use Sun Shower, which has dual purposes. Basic attacks and movement skills will evolve while she's active, damaging nearby enemies while the effect lasts. At the same time, the skill will also reduce damage she and her party take.

Skills involve use of the umbrella and weather-related effects to defeat enemies. While a number of her skills use the umbrella to strike, lunge, or even to block, others, like Whirlpool, unleash heavily damaging bursts of weather damage. Rainstorm, Thick Fog, Spring Breeze, and Scorching Sun are all weather-based options to deal damage and create additional effects. Thick Fog, for instance,  not only unleashes fog and a shockwave, it sends her back and the fog lasts for 5 seconds and 10 attacks to deal damage, debuff move speed, and cause Darkness.

Essentially, if you enjoy the showiness of strong, quick, and damaging weather effects and attacks, while letting you plan what to unleash next, consider the Aeromancer.

Her two class Engravings offer a couple of options on how to play her. Drizzle reduces  raindrop meter consumption by 50%, and while Sun Shower is active, weather skills get a damage boost. Wind Fury increases raindrop meter consumption by 50% and reduces AoE radius for Sun shower, but trades those for increased crit rate, speed boost, and more.

The August update will also come with progression events and more, including a new Legion Raid, quality of life updates, and changes to help new players and those with alts.
