This week, Lost Ark’s update is mostly concerned with fixes, including some continued cleanup from last week’s Pheons distribution and compensation issues, along with quest glitches. Importantly, the update will also address an ongoing disconnect issue.
The update will start loading up overnight, beginning at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET on November 23rd, with an estimated four hours of downtime.
One of the most important parts of this update is what the team is calling a “potential fix” for ongoing disconnect issues. Some have reported this issue for a while, and the Lost Ark team is requesting additional feedback after this update is live. Previous patches have included some attempts to fix the issue, but it seems that it is still affecting some players’ experiences.
Other issues addressed in the next patch include incorrect Pheon amounts showing up in received mail and trade windows. This looks to be an additional effort to clean up after some of last week’s initial accidental Pheon distribution, followed by two subsequent decisions to ultimately remove the extra Pheons except for a universal grant of 30. Some with negative balances were initially also blocked from trading anything until the team patched that issue recently to re-enable trading for those affected.
Some quest glitches and missing quest objects are also on the list of fixes this time around. These will affect quests like “At Journey’s End” and “Silent Manor, which had issues with being impossible to complete. In some other quests, the quest objects that should have been interactable, were not, and these should also be fixed after the patch is live.
The update isn’t just bug fixes, with an adjustment to the Abyss Trade vendor now allowing gear purchases at item level 1370 instead of 1380.
