Tomorrow, Lost Ark readies the Monster Bash, with the October update. Prepare for a new continent to explore and take on new quests, the Calliligos Trial Guardian Raid, events, and of course, Halloween goodies and fun.
The new continent, Pleccia, arrives when the update goes live, after about four hours of downtime starting at about 2:00 AM PDT/ 5:00 AM EDT. The new content requires an item level of 1475 and a completed “Call of Destiny” main quest, so hopefully you're prepared. This is a region that is known for its beauty, romance, art, and an overarching theme of freedom. Explore the Pleccia Port, Prehillia Prairie and meet some new local NPCS. Among them will be the Vediche family, the Yoz illusionists, and others.
You might have guessed, but there's more underneath the surface of all this beautiful pleasure, and indeed you'll have to investigate the rumors of strange happenings on the continent. Complete the new content and you will open up a search for a unique set of collectible items and some titles and goodies unique to Pleccia.
There's a new emote, 34 new achievements and two titles, six new cards, two new card book sets, collectibles, a new guide quest and more to keep busy with in Pleccia.
The Calliligos Trial Guardian Raid is finally almost here, and this edition of the raid will be along the lines of Legion Raids on Inferno difficulty. Calliligos is there to unleash hot blue lightning and thunder as he flies in the dark skies. There are two new runes added to Book of Coordination for this raid, Legendary Quick Recharge Skill Rune and Legendary Galewind Skill Rune. Confront this agile boss and defeat him for special rewards including a trophy, Thunderproof, and the Thunderstrike Legendary title.
Since there is a competition for region first clear, the raid will unlock for the first time on Saturday, October 14th at 7:00 PM UTC.
Event Guardian Raids are also back, with Scale of Balance applied to give the most people a shot at a win and tokens to trade for Halloween items from the event vendor. This event will last until the December update arrives, so you have some time to collect some of the rewards that you might want.
The October update also includes a number of improvements, including some new hairstyles for character customizations, 15 new jukebox songs, some adjustments to quests, and the ability to upgrade your gear set effect from Level 1 to level 3. Later this month, we can expect a revamp to Chaos Gates that will combine them with Ghost Ship and Treasure Map content, but they’ll announce more details soon.
