Lost Ark’s next update will happen tomorrow, bringing the second round of server merges, in addition to fixes, and some changes, including a new Ark Pass season.
The server merges will continue, with Western Europe and South America this time each seeing a total of four servers merged into two. For those regions where server merges are taking place, the team advises that the expected downtime could be more extensive and last up to 12 hours. Downtime will begin at the same time for all regions, currently set for 12 AM PT /3AM ET/ 9 AM CEST.
Weekly maintenance this time will fix several issues, including a bug affecting the Chaos Dungeon Rest Bonus, which has been set to an invalid number for some. The bonus will be rounded up to the nearest 10 for affected characters. Other fixes include making sure the /groupinvite command actually works, as it was sometimes not functioning.
When you craft items in the Stronghold, any withheld gold you spend in the crafting process will now be refunded as withheld gold if you cancel the crafting. This will only apply to withheld gold, seemingly to close a loophole that could let withheld gold, like gold obtained from Powerpasses, be able to be collected early.
There’s a new Ark Pass season starting after maintenance, along with a new login campaign for new and returning players. Season 2 will see new missions start rolling out with rewards like honing material selection chests, pirate coins, pheons, and more. If you have enough Royal Crystals, you can always opt for the premium or super premium Ark Pass, which you can play through to earn some new chests, and with super premium, even some new skin sets.
For those players that are new, or who haven't been online in 30 days and start playing before October 26th, they will be eligible for a brand new daily login campaign reward series. There are 30 days worth of rewards to collect, and items include healing battle item chest, Phoenix plumes, honing support selection chest, and more, with additional bonuses.
