Lost Ark is Ushering in 2025 With an Updated Illios Island Event

Lost Ark is ushering in 2025 with the return of Illios Island. You can earn special rewards during the event,  enjoy new features this year, and explore the island for some New Year's fun.

Discover the crystal shores of the island as well as some ancient secrets and caverns as you explore the island. The island itself is described as the best place to watch the sunrise in Arkesia. If your real world includes frigid weather and grayer skies, maybe a trip to the shore in Lost Ark will soothe your entry into 2025.

If you want to go and explore, feel free to go solo or to bring some friends along. Starting January 1st,  a special event co-op quest will begin. The quest will recur every two hours. You can only get the rewards once per roster, but if you have friends you want to try taking on the event quest with, you can do that as often as you like. 

This year, there are a couple of improvements including two new photo zones that you can use to make some new memories and save them,  and even an overhauled fireworks show. It's a celebration, after all.

During the event, you can earn exclusive loot that will be available just while the event lasts. So, if you’re a collector, head to Illios Island. Then, prepare for what's coming in 2025.
