Lost Ark’s update this week is a housekeeping update, with several fixes and an adjustment to Ark Pass weapon chests.
The downtime will begin at 12 AM PT overnight, and last for about three hours. The Lost Ark team published the notes on what we can expect. A frustrating issue that came up in the community is when players claimed weapon skin boxes from the Ark Pass, they were initially (and mistakenly) character bound. This week's update will change them to be roster bound, so at least you can choose which character you want to use it with
In addition to this issue, there’s a fix for the Legendary Card Pack participants could get from the Aldebaran Harvest Festival. This comes down to clarifying the description, as the card pack works by randomly giving you one legendary card and is not itself a selection pack.
Another Halloween-related fix comes for the Jack O’Lantern the Wanderer Ship Skin, which will not have accurate trading restrictions displayed in the game.
These are the issues that Lost Ark is fixing with the update, but there is much more to come over the coming weeks into 2023. Just yesterday, a new collaboration with CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher franchise is coming in “early 2023”, with the teaser asking just what adventures Geralt might have in Arkesia (and some spoiler images from Korea showing Geralt and Ciri).
Lost Ark’s roadmap that was revealed about a month ago is also packed with content to come. That content includes the Brelshaza Legion Raid, which the team touts as being challenging and punishing in terms of difficulty and, with its numerous gates, in mechanics. Also on the way, is the Summoner class next month, which is for the Mage, a new Level 6 Guardian Raid, a holiday event, new cosmetics, and even some more dungeons.
