This week, Lost Ark’s latest update is set to arrive tomorrow, with downtime starting overnight at 12 AM PT and set to last for about five hours. The update looks to be mostly fixes and housekeeping stuff this time after the most recent large content update.
The notes are brief this week, with the team fixing an issue that was causing problems with the Currency Exchange. If certain settings were applied, players were seeing the Currency Exchange as a black screen and it was unusable. This will be getting fixed in the update overnight. Both of the remaining fixes apply to the recently added Heartbeat Island.
Dance Queen Rekiel wasn’t dropping recovery ethers, so taking the challenge was harder than it was supposed to be. Also making things harder was the fact that Dance Queen Rekiel was doing too much damage. Her damage output is being reduced a bit.
If you haven’t taken on the Dance Queen on the recreational and rewarding Heartbeat Island, this is one of the challenges and activities you can choose to participate in.
Lost Ark continues along, with the next major update not dated just yet, but likely later this summer. According to the roadmap that was released last month, Amazon and Smilegate RPG are working to bring the game's first 21 Advanced Classes to the Western release, but there is no set schedule that we can expect them just yet. They're still working to put together the cadence as well as additional end-game content.
As for when we might have an idea of what is to come in August and beyond, considering that mid July is very soon, we probably don’t have to wait too long for some news on windows in which we might be able to expect some meatier updates.
Head over to Lost Ark for the patch notes and any updates.
