Powerpasses have been temporarily disabled for weeks due to an issue in Lost Ark, but free Powerpasses have been re-enabled. The team also set the new “Under the Arkesian Sun” update, which includes the new Pet Ranch and Legendary Pets, for August 24th.
Without going into exactly what the issues are that led to Powerpasses being disabled in the first place, they’re back. The free ones, at least. Players who’ve been impacted by the passes being made unavailable during this time will qualify for a special Punika Growth Support pack (an item that was once mistakenly added to the shop briefly, before being taken down). Those who completed a quest to earn a free pass between July 23rd through yesterday or have an unused free pass and have logged in between July 23-August 15th will get a pack.
Paid Powerpasses in the store will continue to be disabled while the team continues to work on the mystery issues. The new announcement only says that, “We will share more information when this work has been finalized”. It’s unclear if this means an explanation for what “issues” were responsible, but for now, the free passes are active. The new withholding period for any gold earned while using them is in effect too.
“Under the Arkesian Sun '' is the next update coming on August 24th. This update is the second this month, following the announced cadence of several smaller updates. The new Pet Ranch and Legendary pets are the main additions. You'll be able to train your pet and earn pet expertise and eventually level your pet to Legendary. Leveling your pet 2 legendary will unlock several features including a new skill for the pet and different effects during combat.
Your pets can play on the ranch and help you earn rewards through working in the Cookie Workshop to make Jam Cookies, the currency you can exchange for rewards. You will have to make sure your pets recover their morale through playtime at the ranch too.
