Amazon and Smilegate RPG's next update for Lost Ark was due out tomorrow, but the team has delayed the update to the end of the month. Lost Ark's developers are citing concerns by players regarding monetization and "related systems."
In a post on the Lost Ark forums, community manager Roxx states that the June update will be delayed, launching now instead on June 30th. This delay is due in large part to the team addressing concerns the player base has over monetization and "related systems" according to the post. No further info was given as to what exactly was being worked on, though the team has promised a breakdown later on this week.
"We are still working across teams to finalize a build that addresses multiple concerns of our [player base], primarily in terms of monetization and related systems. While this won’t be ready for launch tomorrow, the June Update will go live next week on June 30th. A breakdown of the new changes will be shared in the Team Update later this week."
Additionally, the team is working hard on the problem of bots facing Lost Ark, including the recent banwave. The team states that they are working hard to fix the issue, but that the problem is still an issue that they are tackling as a "top priority."
We want to thank you for your patience surrounding the June Update which will be released on June 30. Detailed info about the delay will be coming later this week in a larger Team Update, but we wanted to provide a bit of insight ahead of this.Read up!https://t.co/cMg0huJN2N
