Lost Ark’s latest entry in the Eye on Arkesia video series has some details about the changes to the update schedule, including a now-confirmed date for the Aegir raid.

With Tier 4 on the way, the team never confirmed a release date for that update until they had to delay it two weeks to October 9th. The Aegir raid–the next Kazeros raid– also now has a confirmed date of October 23rd. When they announced the Tier 4 delay, they considered releasing this raid on October 16th, but after community feedback, they have settled on the 23rd at the release.

In the video, Roxx explains that they had planned a short release timeline to kick off ancient gear farming, but the community felt that just one week after Tier 4  wouldn't give enough time to sufficiently get used to the new system and prepare. Preparing for Tier 4 and progression after the update will be supported by a number of progression events and related opportunities.

One of the big ones is the arrival of the fast-progression Ignite servers, which are debuting in the Western version of Lost Ark first alongside Tier 4. Ignite servers are designed to get you endgame ready when you transfer your character to a live server

This summer, some Amazon Games members went to Korea to work with Smilegate RPG to discuss player feedback. With feedback coming from different places sometimes, including the different individual and cultural experiences players have, they discussed how they might adapt content with the Western players in mind based on those details.

Some of the topics they discussed were growth rates and the speed of releases and the speed of content, one of the changes they made as the result of this meeting was to adjust Behemoth to 1620. When Tier 4 is out, Behemoth rewards will switch to the Tier 4 pool, but the 16 20 item level floor will remain. The two teams are still discussing future changes, but they're looking at things like those categories to make adjustments.
