Lost Ark’s August update is coming next week, with a number of improvements, quality of life changes, and new features. While a number of items from the latest 2024 roadmapwill arrive with the update, there are a couple of changes the team has announced to be aware of.
Indigo Island is coming, in the form of an island off the coast of Kurzan. If you have item level 1600, you can explore the underwater scenery and complete a special quest that will grant you access to a new single player dungeon. The update will also introduce Bound Gold, Which is designed to let you earn more gold from in-game activities. the weekly Purification mission system for Chaos Dungeons, a new quest for the Maharaka Festival will also arrive as scheduled.
As for the changes to the update, the Style Book feature will not arrive in August. This feature serves as a showcase for character customizations, letting you browse through others’ submissions, save your favorites, and even use them as presets. The team has been preparing to release it in the west, but there's no updated Western release date yet since they need to continue to work on it.
The other major change to next week's update involves planned adjustments to the Echidna raid. Both Normal and Hard mode will get some adjustments to allow for more players to complete the raid. These tweaks were set to come next week, but the new release date is currently set for August 28th. Smilegate RPG and Amazon Games are promising more details before the update arrives.
