Lost Ark has a new roadmap update, giving us details on some of what's coming from August through November. Expect a new continent, new raids, rebalancing, the introduction of the Bound Gold system, limited fresh start Express servers, and the arrival of Tier 4 in September.
Starting in August, get ready for Indigo Island. Placed off the coast of Kurzan, with underwater scenery to explore for those with item level 1600. Complete a quest to access the “Underwater Cave” single-player dungeon. A new feature, the Style Book, is a showcase for character customizations. You can view other people's submissions, vote for your favorites, and save them as presets to use.
The Echidna raid will get difficulty adjustments to let more complete it, a weekly purification mission system for Chaos dungeons, and the Bound Gold system. That system is coming to the Western version and will let you earn more gold from in-game activities to use on progression. Expect more details soon.
In September, North Kurzan will open. The Demon Legion and Chaos Guardians are all over, threatening to revive Kazeros. Expect a new world boss, achievements, Chaos Gate, and more.
Tier 4 also finally arrives in September, and this is a huge change, featuring new content, overhauls, and a huge endgame update. Tier 4 will also usher in progression and gear changes, along with raising the level cap to 70, and much more that will get details on later. The roadmap reveals a few details. Ark Passive will be another option to build your character. A 16-player Behemoth raid is coming, with a limited pool of revives. You'll be able to unlock Kurzan Frontline and Kenuart Fortress.
Kurzan Frontline is similar to Chaos dungeons, but is its own new type of hack and slash content. Kenuart Fortress is a new dungeon for solo players or groups of 4. Every time you defeat a boss in this dungeon, you're guaranteed a Tier 4 gear selection chest.
Also in September are Express Servers, which is what they're calling an evolution of Jump-Start servers, With a ton of progression boosts and even horizontal progression for the first time.
October brings the next Kazeros raid, Aegir. This raid has two gates and surprise, Akkan will return in the first one, with Aegir in the second. In November, expect a new island, new pet abilities, and the arrival of Hyper Awakening skills, which they call “between basic skill and Awakening Skills in terms of balance”.
