Lost Ark’s next update will be live on April 12th. The April update features the new Hanumatan Guardian Raid, Brelshaza Hard Mode, and a series of progression events to get you started (or to further your character).
With the update coming in just over a week, there is some time to prepare if you need to get refreshed on Brelshaza or anything else that needs finishing before the new season and new content arrives.
“A powerful force of destruction in the Chain War 500 years ago, Hanumatan has sensed chaos looming in Arkesia and has woken from a long slumber” and he has judged that humans are the enemies of Arkesia. So that means that he’ll be putting up a fight to stop the humans or to be stopped. He’s a formidable Level 6 Guardian Raid and requires item level 1540 to challenge. This is equivalent to what you’ll need to tackle the first two gates in the Brelshaza Hard Mode raid.
In the launch date announcement for the update, the team also dropped the detail that “challenging Hanumatan in a Guardian Raid will require Item Level 1540, and like Brelshaza Hard Mode, Ancient accessories can be earned by successful parties”. Ancient gear is also coming in the new update, and materials will be obtainable from successfully challenging Brelshaza, and now it seems that accessories will be earned by facing Hanumatan too.
There will be full release notes when the update is ready, but we do know that there will be a new Ark Pass season (with free and premium reward tracks), and new rounds of progression events. This includes a new Punika Powerpass, Story Express, Engraving Support, and Hyper Express Plus.
For now, head to Lost Ark for the full announcement, and a peek at what facing Hanumatan is like.
