Lost Ark’s April update will be out tomorrow, and there will be some brand new challenges, a new gear tier, new Guardian Raid, and much more.

Downtime is scheduled to begin at 12AM Pacific time and once the update is live, Brelshaza will be ready to challenge in Hard Mode. This 8-player raid will increase the difficulty, and features new challenges and new mechanics to figure out how to survive and defeat. An item level of 1540 is needed just for the first two gates. By the time you get to gate number five, you'll need an item level of 1560 to finish out the challenge.

The most recent Lost Ark Academy previewed both the new challenge and what else you can earn for yourself by completing it: Ancient quality gear. This newest gear tier will be craftable via materials that drop from the Hard Mode Brelshaza raid. You’ll also be able to earn Ancient accessories by defeating Hanumatan in the latest all-new Guardian Raid.

Sidereal weapons also arrive in Arkesia with the update. These could be yours from a new questline that begins for those at item level 1520. What makes these weapons different is that they will “evolve” once you have the required materials and have completed all prerequisites. If you complete upgrading to level 6, you'll gain special effects for each of the Sidereals.

If those weren’t enough of a challenge, maybe Fortunespire will. You will be able to access the first 25 floors of the Tier 3 tower if you have an item level of 1490, so this will be available to more players than the two new raids. This will be familiar if you’ve already completed Shadespire and Fatespire, and the other 25 levels will be open in a later update. For now, though, get ready to earn some new rewards and progress.

There are also new cast engines, achievements, and a series of new quests, this is a big update that also features a lot of quality of life changes and additional improvements.

You can read the full details in the notes over at Lost Ark.
